Singapore shares rise after Fed rate cut pause; STI up 0.6%

SINGAPORE – Shares here and elsewhere enjoyed a welcome boost on March 20 after the US Federal Reserve eased concerns over an impending recession, although it did kick further interest rate cuts down the road.
